DESCRIPTION:
This online course meets the Watchkeeping and Standard Marine Communication Phrases training requirements of the STCW Code, Table A-II/1 as Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch on vessels of 500 or more gross tonnage (ITC) and of the STCW Code, Table A-II/3 as Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch on vessels of less than 500 gross tonnage (ITC).
The course includes online content and online examination through HALO° Exam Monitoring System, but requires a 1 day, on-site simulator session to complete the required STCW practical assessments. You will receive 3 attempts for your exam on HALO° Exams. If you fail all 3 attempts, you must pay a retake fee of $50.00.

PREREQUISITES:
The course requires integration of Radar, ARPA and other bridge equipment during the assessment session. Completion of a Radar and ARPA course and familiarization with bridge equipment is necessary to be successful in this course.
