In compliance with Regulation V/2, §§ 4,5 and 6 and Regulations V/3, §§ 4, 5 and 6 specified in the STCW Code Sections A-V/2 and A-V/3, §§ 1, 2, and 3.
This course aims to meet mandatory minimum requirements for the training for masters, chief mates and persons assigned immediate responsibility for embarking and disembarking passengers, loading, discharging or securing cargo or closing hull openings, and any other person having a responsibility for the safety of passengers in emergency situations.
*Approved by the Commonwealth of Dominica Maritime Administration, Office of Marine Personnel only for mariners with Commonwealth of Dominica credentials. This online course has not yet been approved by the United States Coast Guard.
**The Shipboard Practical Assessments must be completed and signed by the Captain in order to complete the course and receive your certificate. The assessments can be found under the Resources section on the left hand side of the Course Dashboard.**
